The Master Key System, Part Two #5

Ease and perfection depend entirely upon the degree in which we cease to depend upon the consciousness; playing the piano, skating, operating the typewriter, the skilled trades, depend for their perfect execution on the process of the subconscious mind. The marvel of playing a brilliant piece on the piano, while at the same time conducting a vigorous conversation, shows the greatness of our subconscious powers.
Even though I can’t read very well, we had a pretty good discussion about this principle.

We’ve been taught that we should practice, practice, practice and that practice makes perfect. In actuality, the subconscious is where our talents lie. Our practice is in getting out of the conscious mind and getting into the zone or the flow.

When we send our conscious mind out to do something – such as getting a shower or driving a car – our subconscious mind can be more free to do it’s natural job and put us in the flow.

We must learn to get out of the way. Are you following your passion or are you following the money? If we get our consciousness out of the way, our subconscious will usually follow the passion.
