The Master Key System, Part Two #19

The subconscious mind perceives by intuition. Hence, its processes are rapid. It does not wait for the slow methods of conscious reasoning. In fact, it cannot employ them.
The subconscious can’t wait on the conscious mind to decide if something is good or bad and whether or not to act. It acts right away, automatically, based on the information it has at the time.

This is good and bad. It’s good if the programs in our subconscious are good and bad if they aren’t. But, even in the reactions, we find out what the programming is in our subconscious mind.

This explains the difference between reactions and responses. Responses involve the conscious mind and reprogram the subconscious mind for next time’s reaction. This is also where our habits, both bad and good, come from.

This doesn’t happen with just one try. It takes practice. The variables in each circumstance are different each time as well which may make it harder to train our subconscious mind.
