The Master Key System, Part One #4 – Will Lizabeth be a Belly Dancer?

This is true because we must “be” before we can “do,” and we can “do” only to the extent which we “are,” and what we “are” depends upon what we “think.”

‘This is true’ refers to Part One #3 – that our attitude depends on our thinking and the secret of all power, achievement and possession depends on our method of thinking.

Today’s statement tells us we are what we think. We must believe we can do something before we can actually do it. If we don’t believe we can be a belly dancer, then we will never do belly dancing. We must be before we can do. Who “are” you? Does your “doing” match who you are?

  1. Be joyful, do joyful.
Since I started by receiving Part One #4, I watched the first 4 videos this morning. Just what I needed. Thanks!

  2. Loved it! Love the laughter. When I read this i found it to be convoluted as well but instead of laughing I got mad. What a gift to be shown how humor is an infinitely better resource than anger!
I think also that the being and doing are inextricably linked. I can “be” a writer/teacher/whatever in my head all day long but without action am I really? I don’t think so. At the same time I also don’t agree that we are what we think. I get that my thoughts will determine my experience but I think that is only a facet of who I am. I am beyond my actions and thoughts. The divine reality of me is not dependent on my thinking but is love. Is God. And this is true no matter what I am manifesting outwardly.
    Love love y’all!

  3. Potentiality is the key. Once we realize we have the potential to do ANYTHING, then it is simply asking, “what do I want to do?” or “what do I desire?” I COULD be a belly dancer but in my current condition I think my audience would only be Cassandra and perhaps Ripley’s Believe It or Not…LOL

  4. I totally think Lizabeth should take up belly dancing !
This one resonates with me on a very deep level. Haanel sums up what Ernest Holmes, the Fillmores. Quimby & others have been saying for years! If you can think it, then you can do it! I like how Lizabeth uses the word “potential”, I’m constantly telling my students they have within them the possibility to achieve any thing.. It doesn’t mean there will not be some effort or appropriate action required though & it doesn’t mean it will always be “easy”. This also points toward the importance of “know thyself”, if we don’t know who we are then we move into what I call living by default which is just a series of reactions to external circumstances instead of living creatively!
“Potential” continues to come up for me, as in potential energy! It’s just setting there ready & waiting to be unleashed provided the correct & appropriate action to bring it forth!

    • This is also empowering because it lets us know we can do/be anything. Given the correct “mind” training thru certain methods (for me that is meditation, reading, studying Ernest Holmes & the Fillmores, engaging in things such as this) then it is possible to tap into our potential energy & make changes or improvements where we deem needed.
