I have not always been able to come up with 10 things I am grateful for whenever someone asks.
Today, I have so much to be grateful for that I think in terms of what’s working right now and what’s not. I also have a much broader perspective than I did many years ago and so today here is my list in order of what comes to mind first.
1) I am grateful for my journey with weight.
2) I am grateful for my diagnosis and the passion I have found because of it.
3) I am grateful for my children, friends and chosen family.
4) I am grateful for the color that surrounds me.
5) I am grateful for wonderful, soul-filling music.
6) I am grateful for the freedom to travel.
7) I am grateful for my wife.
8) I am grateful for my health.
9) I am grateful for my Internal Guidance System.
10) I am grateful for laughter.
This list covers so much and yet so little. I look forward to tomorrow’s list. I know this is short but some days it’s not about soliloquies or deep thoughts, it’s just about being grateful and that’s enough. <3
