Tips for Better Clarity with the 40 Day Prosperity Plan: What’s Your Definition of God?

creationofadamI am really enjoying this 40 Day Prosperity Plan that Lizabeth and I are on. It’s one of the highlights of my morning (along with my coffee). We read it and discuss it, tearing each sentence a part to try and get new insight and a better understanding of exactly what John Randolph Price was trying to say in each day’s statement. Before the 40 days are over, we will have read each statement 4 times (actually at least five or six times since we missed a day and had to start over). I keep wondering what I could possibly learn from the statement this time since we absolutely tore it apart the last time we landed on this statement. Each day, I come away with new insight.

One thing we started doing early in the plan was re-reading the statement of the day replacing the Capitalized words with the word God. We did this because we got the fact that Mr. Price was talking about the higher use of the word since it was capitalized. He was, in my opinion, describing an attribute of God. We found that replacing those words with the word ‘God’ helped us see the statement in a different light and gave us more clarity.

Then, since I’m such a left-brain person and enjoy reading Ernest Holmes, we replaced those words with the word ‘Law’ to see how that may give it more clarity. That worked wonders for me, but I don’t think it spoke so much to Lizabeth. We read it both ways just to get the feel and see it in a different light.

Then one day, after reading this part of statement one again, “This all-providing Source of infinite prosperity is individualized as me — the Reality of me”, we started using our own names in the place of the capitalized words. What this did for me was truly powerful. It reminded me who I truly am and that I can trust my own Guidance. Each statement, with my name replacing those capitalized words, reminds me of the inheritance, power, and wisdom that I truly have.

Then, most recently, we started using the word ‘Energy’ in place of the capitalized words. THAT really did it for me, because that’s more of the picture I have of God at this time in my life. He is the Energy behind everything in my mind.

See for yourself. Which of these speaks to you the loudest? Or what word would make more sense to you in those places? Here’s one of the statements Mr. Price uses in the plan and how we replace the words:

Original: “Money is not my supply. No person, place or condition is my supply. My awareness, understanding and knowledge of the all-providing activity of the Divine Mind within me is my supply. My consciousness of this Truth is unlimited, therefore, my supply is unlimited.”

Replace capitalized words with God: “Money is not my supply. No person, place or condition is my supply. My awareness, understanding and knowledge of the all-providing activity of the God within me is my supply. My consciousness of this God is unlimited, therefore, my supply is unlimited.”

Replace with Christ: “Money is not my supply. No person, place or condition is my supply. My awareness, understanding and knowledge of the all-providing activity of the Christ within me is my supply. My consciousness of this Christ is unlimited, therefore, my supply is unlimited.”

Replace with Law: “Money is not my supply. No person, place or condition is my supply. My awareness, understanding and knowledge of the all-providing activity of the Law within me is my supply. My consciousness of this Law is unlimited, therefore, my supply is unlimited.”

Replace with Cindy: “Money is not my supply. No person, place or condition is my supply. My awareness, understanding and knowledge of the all-providing activity of the Cindy within me is my supply. My consciousness of this Cindy is unlimited, therefore, my supply is unlimited.”

Replace with your name: “Money is not my supply. No person, place or condition is my supply. My awareness, understanding and knowledge of the all-providing activity of the within me is my supply. My consciousness of this is unlimited, therefore, my supply is unlimited.”

Replace with Energy: “Money is not my supply. No person, place or condition is my supply. My awareness, understanding and knowledge of the all-providing activity of the Energy within me is my supply. My consciousness of this Energy is unlimited, therefore, my supply is unlimited.”

How do you view the God of your understanding? Try replacing that word in these sentences. Does it change the clarity and meaning for you? It’s helped me tremendously in our study of prosperity.
