The Four Spiritual Laws Day 8 Chapter 2 Tithing Questions continued

Today we continue discussing the questions on tithing from Edwene’s book. We talk about things such as: Why 10%? Who do I tithe to? What if the person I tithe to, doesn’t accept? Can I be excused from tithing? Did Jesus teach tithing? Can it be 5%? What if the person I am led to tithe to doesn’t need it? And much, much more!

Join us for this discussion on the questions Edwene asks in her book and give us your answers below.

Giving a lot of energy to Chapter 2 which is so appropriate. I have my tithe checks written and will mail them in the next day or so.

I looked at my bank balance after I sealed the envelopes and had a twinge when I looked at the balance, but I thought, what about that spot in you that is fearless. I have had bigger fears over the years.

My daily affirmation is from Charles Fillmore and when I feel fear I read this: ” I fairly wake up with zeal and enthusiasm and spring forth with a mighty faith to do the things I ought to do.” Is that a wonderful affirmation. That makes the fearful thoughts go away.

Have had some mini-miracles this week and I will bask in the glory I am not in this world alone.

    • I love that affirmation from Charles Filmore. It helps me get going some mornings when my energy level isn’t up to par. I have had my own moments of panic lately. I affirm that these are temporary conditions and not the Truth. I choose to trust God to lead me to greater possibilities and new opportunities.
